Why We’re Cheaper & Better Than the Alternatives
Stop Overpaying for More Than You Need
| Option | Cost | Drawback |
|---|---|---|
| National bid-tracking platforms | Often priced for large contractors | Built for multi-state general contractors. More complex than a local trade shop needs. |
| Hiring an Office Admin | Thousands per month | Expensive overhead just to click through bid portals every morning. |
| Searching Yourself | Hours every week | Evenings spent scrolling government websites instead of running jobs or being with family. |
| NC Trade Bids | $79.99 / month | Triangle bids for your trade, in your inbox by 7:00 AM. One won job can pay for years of subscription. |

Common Questions
How is this different from eVP’s free email alerts?
eVP’s alerts are free and worth having, but they work differently. You register as a vendor, pick categories, and get separate notices for matching bids from anywhere in North Carolina. Trade work is often filed under broad or unexpected categories, so it’s easy to miss. NC Trade Bids sends one email each morning with only Triangle agencies, sorted by your trade based on what each bid actually describes. New bids are flagged at the top, deadlines are front and center, and there’s nothing to log into. Plenty of contractors use both.Which agencies and areas do you cover?
Public agencies in Wake, Durham, Johnston, Orange and Chatham counties that post bids on eVP, North Carolina’s official bid portal. That includes cities and towns, counties, school systems, universities and utilities. Agencies that post only on their own websites aren’t included yet.Which trades can I choose?
HVAC/Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Wet Utilities (water, sewer, stormwater) and Sitework. Pick one or several at signup. To change them later, just reply to any digest email. What does the email look like?
It arrives by 7 AM every morning. A quick “Today at a glance” box shows how many bids are open for your trades and which ones are new. Below that, each bid lists the agency, project, deadline and a link to the official posting. Bids for other trades appear at the bottom in case you’re interested. Will I see every single bid?
We check eVP every morning and include every open Triangle bid we find for your trades. Always confirm details like deadlines and requirements on the official posting before you bid. What does it cost, and how do I cancel?

Terms of Service
Effective date: October 18, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of NC Trade Bids ("NC Trade Bids," "we," "us"), an email service based at 3064 Wake Forest Rd #1143, Raleigh, NC 27609. By starting a free trial or subscription, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
NC Trade Bids sends subscribers a daily email ("Digest") summarizing open public bid solicitations. We currently collect solicitations posted to the North Carolina electronic Vendor Portal (eVP) by agencies located in Wake, Durham, Johnston, Orange and Chatham counties. We sort solicitations by trade (HVAC/Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Wet Utilities and Sitework) using automated tools, including artificial intelligence. Each listing links to the official posting.
We may change the agencies, sources, trades, format or delivery time of the Digest. We will tell subscribers in advance about any change that materially reduces coverage.
2. Not affiliated with any government
NC Trade Bids is an independent business. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the State of North Carolina or any government agency.
3. No guarantee of completeness or accuracy
The Digest is an alert service, not an official record. You are responsible for confirming every detail on the official posting, including deadlines, addenda, pre-bid meetings, eligibility and submission requirements. In particular:
• Agencies may post solicitations only on their own websites or other portals that we do not monitor, or may post late, change or cancel solicitations without notice.
• Government websites may be unavailable, slow or incorrect, which can delay or prevent a Digest.
• Automated trade sorting can misclassify a solicitation. We include possible matches to reduce this risk but cannot eliminate it.
We do not guarantee that any Digest will include every relevant solicitation, arrive at a particular time, or be free of errors. Do not rely on the Digest as your only source of bid opportunities.
4. Free trial, billing and auto-renewal
• Free trial: New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
• Price: After the trial, the subscription costs $79.99 per month, plus any applicable taxes, billed to your payment method on file through our payment processor, Stripe.
• Auto-renewal: Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
• Price changes: We will email you at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect. You may cancel before it applies.
• Failed payments: If a payment fails, we may pause or end your subscription after reasonable attempts to collect.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time using the "Manage or cancel subscription" link in any Digest or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current trial or billing period, and you will keep receiving the Digest until then. Payments already made are non-refundable, except where required by law.
6. Your account and acceptable use
Your subscription is for use by you and others in your company. You may forward individual Digests to coworkers. You may not resell, republish, or redistribute Digests or their contents to people outside your company, or use automated means to copy them into a competing product.
You agree to provide an accurate email address and keep your payment information current.
7. Intellectual property
The solicitations themselves are public information belonging to the issuing agencies. The Digest's selection, organization, trade tagging, design and text are owned by NC Trade Bids.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NC TRADE BIDS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST BIDS OR LOST CONTRACTS, ARISING FROM THE SERVICE OR ANY MISSED, LATE OR INACCURATE INFORMATION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify NC Trade Bids against claims arising from your misuse of the service or your violation of these Terms.
11. Ending the service
We may suspend or end your subscription if you violate these Terms. We may discontinue the service with at least 30 days' notice and will refund any prepaid amount for periods after the service ends.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will email subscribers about material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing your subscription after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
